The Bettinson Society was formed in 2014 by a group of persons who share a deep appreciation for the studio and literary output of Brenda Bettinson. The purpose of this society is to introduce a number of initiatives which are intended to develop scholarly and/or artistic exploration of the artist’s work and to provide a forum where issues and ideas related to Bettinson’s work can be shared. The Bettinson Society may liaise with the Bettinson Art and Literary Trust or with Mathias Fine Art the gallery that has handled Brenda Bettinson’s art work since 1991.
